Join us for a one-of-a-kind cross-country camp held right here in the Ozarks. This camp welcomes runners who went on to compete at the Regional, State, and even National levels.
Our camp counselors — current University of the Ozarks cross country student-athletes — bring years of competitive experience and are ready to guide athletes of all levels.
Receive instructions in:
Leadership and team building with Ozarks leadership staff
Proper pacing, race strategy, and training methods
Injury prevention, including pool-based recovery sessions (facility-dependent)
Warm-up and cool-down routines
Speed development sessions with Ozarks coaching staff
Strength training with certified strength and conditioning coaches
Nutrition and post-workout recovery
Shoe selection and running gear guidance
Goal setting and motivation from collegiate-level athletes and guest speakers

A Typical Camp Day:
We begin our daily run at 7:00 AM
Commuters may be dropped off at the designated dorm entrance by 6:45 AM. After the morning run, we eat breakfast, clean up, and jump into a full day of running-focused discussions, team activities, leadership development, and fun. Each evening ends with a team-centered reflection or devotional time.
